Student Pricing

The Australian Homestay Network operates in regions across Australia. Each region has student pricing specific to the living costs and services being made available in that region. Please choose your region from the list below:

Placement Fee

The placement fee is a one time only fee paid at the time of student application. Once we have begun working on your placement, the placement fee is non-refundable, unless your Visa is denied. The placement fee includes finding you a well-matched host family. Airport transfer via private driver is available at an additional cost. Pricing varies between regions and can be found by selecting a state within our service regions.

Homestay Fee Model

Stay Period

The standard minimum stay is 4 weeks. You must give your host 2 weeks notice of your intent to move out. If your Visa is denied all fees are refundable. Partial weeks will be calculated at a daily rate. If you wish to stay fewer than 4 weeks, or are a minor student, please complete your application and contact us for details.

Meal Plans

Meal plans vary, depending on how many meals you’d like your host to provide daily. All homestays have private rooms with a bed, study area and wardrobe for personal belongings. Laundry facilities, internet and all utilities are included in the homestay price. We also have a No Meals option for more independent students.

Invoicing

Upon acceptance of your application you will be invoiced for the first 4 weeks. We will send you or your agent an invoice every 4 weeks.

Payment

AHN accepts a variety of payment methods including AliPay, PayPal, direct deposit and credit card (Visa and Mastercard). All details about how to make a payment to AHN are provided on your invoice.

Pricing

Pricing varies depending on age, location, preferred level of service and additional requirements. Premium pricing may apply to some placements and will be advised in the initial homestay quote. For minors (under 18 years of age) there may be different prices as hosts are specifically trained and certified to support younger guests.

Parent Nominated Homestay

Parent Nominated Homestay can be arranged by AHN for a $340 Matching Fee and $50/week Homestay Management Fee. Additional fees may apply for last minute placements. Product must be approved by the Education Provider. Fees are for AHN host vetting and placement management services. No host reimbursement included.

Guardianship Services

Guardianship packages (through reputable third-party provider) are available upon request. Contact your local office for more information.
