Student Homestay Pricing
The Australian Homestay Network offers a range of homestay packages to suit different needs and budgets. Each location has student pricing specific to the living costs and services available in that region. Packages prices include internet access, laundry facilities and utilities (e.g. power, water).
Guardianship packages (through reputable third-party provider) are available upon request.

*Daily Transport and Airport Transfers may incur additional fees and are subject to availability. Surcharge may apply to Airport Transfers on public holidays, for arrivals between 8pm and 6am, or for additional wait times at the airport.
**VIP Homestay: Traditional package price plus additional $60 per week. Subject to availability.
Students with special dietary requirements (i.e. Kosher, Halal, Gluten Free, Vegetarian or Vegan meals etc.) may be charged a fee to cover the additional costs to hosts. Contact your local office for further details.
Premium pricing may apply to some placements and will be advised in your homestay quote.

AHN places students based on preferences and availability of matching hosts with regard to proximity to their place of study. Applications received well in advance are subject to higher availability of hosts within a closer location to the education provider.
Parent Nominated Homestay
Parent Nominated Homestay can be arranged by AHN for a $340 Matching Fee (2024) / $350 Matching Fee (2025) and $50/week Homestay Management Fee. Additional fees may apply for last minute placements. Product must be approved by the Education Provider. Fees are for AHN host vetting and placement management services. No host reimbursement included.
Study Tour quotes will be issued on a case by case basis dependent on numbers.
Placement fee includes:
- Selection and training of host
- System support during application process
- Ensuring that all appropriate authority clearances are in place
- Host residence visit and approval process
- Placement of student (student – host preference matching)
- Follow-up support if required regarding placement
- Liaison with education institution and agent as appropriate
Weekly fee includes:
- Meals and accommodation as specified
- Homestay host additional support for students
- AHN professional 24/7 phone support
- Compulsory AHN contents insurance for students and hosts as per our insurance policy.
- Ongoing monitoring of host suitability
- System access for agents, institution, students and hosts
- AHN project management
- Local AHN supervisor support
