A Valid Entry
  1. The promoter is: Australian Homestay Network Pty Ltd (AHN)(ABN 52 124 610 313) whose registered office is at Suite 202a, Toowong Towers, 9 Sherwood Road, Toowong QLD 4066.
  2. The competition is open to Live AHN hosts who have had an active placement between 1 July 2022 and 31 October 2023 except employees of Australian Homestay Network Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Multiple entries from the same person are accepted. There is only one winner.
  6. Closing date for entry will be 31 October 2023, midnight.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    a. Entrants must be a live AHN host.
    b. Entries must include at least one video or photo of the host’s pet/s as well as a profile of the pet/s with a minimum of two distinguishing characteristics (e.g. name, age, favourite food, etc.).
    c. Entries can be emailed to socialmedia@homestaynetwork.org, sent to us by private message OR
    posted on Facebook or Instagram tagging the official AHN account (Facebook: @AHNHomestay, Instagram: @ahnaustralia) and including the hashtags #AustralianHomestayNetwork and #AHNHomestayPets
    d. The winning entry will be chosen based on creativity. Video content will be favoured, as will photos/videos including AHN homestay guests with the pet/s.
  9. The competition will be advertised to AHN hosts using email and social media.
  10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  12. The prize is as stated (1x $300 gift voucher at a retailer of your choice) and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  13. Winners will be chosen from all entries received and verified by the promoter.
  14. The winner will be notified by email and/or direct message on Facebook within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  15. The promoter will notify the winner of when and where the prize can be collected or delivered.
  16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
  18. The winner agrees to the use of their name, feedback and photos/videos in any public material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  19. The winner’s name will be available 14 days after closing date by emailing socialmedia@homestaynetwork.org.
  20. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, any other social network or Constant Contact. You are providing your information to Australian Homestay Network Pty Ltd and not to any other party.   22. Australian Homestay Network reserves the right to cancel the competition without notice.
